Arts against Guns and Knives festival Jacksons Lane is hosting the first ever arts led festival looking at the disturbing rise of gun and knife crime throughout London, and the effects on young people. From 5th -15th July the festival brings together youth groups from across London including the Roundhouse, Black Arts Productions Theatre Ltd and Insight Arts. Enabling the young people to explore their fears, attitudes and experience through workshops, performances and debate. The festival will culminate in a symposium on Saturday 15th July, 3-5pm, offering a forum for debate and discussion around the topic of gun and knife crime in the local area.
