Male Youth Leader, British American Drama Academy

The British American Drama Academy is looking for a male youth leader to work alongside our female youth leader to ensure a safe and fun environment for our visiting students on the Midsummer Conservatory Program based in Oxford. The successful candidate will be highly energetic and motivated with experience in working with young people, co-ordinating social activities and excellent organisational skills with the focus of creating a memorable experience for the students. Enhanced Disclosure Checks are not essential for application but will be required before a formal offer is made. Knowledge of theatre is not a requirement for this position but would be an advantage.

As part of the Midsummer Conservatory Program Staff you will work alongside the Dean of BADA, the Program Manager and the Faculty. You will stay at Wadham College, Oxford from 20th July to 11th August 2018 with our students. Bed and board will be provided during this period as part of the contract. The successful candidate must also be available on Sunday 15th July for the induction day in Oxford.

The role of youth leader will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in Oxford, gaining experience in the daily operations of a conservatory style training program, working among international students, distinguished actors and directors of the British stage as well as leading teachers from Britain's foremost drama schools.
