NAYT In Conversation

NAYT are hosting a series of live web chats with artists from across the sector. They are informal discussions around artistic practise and inclusion in the YT sector.

 

These conversations will be livestreamed to our Facebook page, and then after a week hosted in the Member’s Area of the NAYT website. If you have any questions for these conversations, email [email protected]

 

Lucy Kerbel - 27th May / 2pm

Tonic Theatre advocates for gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the theatre sector. Lucy Kerbel is Tonic's award-winning Director, and author of All Change Please, a practical guide towards gender equality.

 

Leo Skilbeck - 29th May / 2pm

Leo is a writer and director part of Milk Presents. They create playful award winning performance about LGBTQ+ identity and experiences, and support theatres to improve inclusion.

 

Evan Placey - 3rd June / 2pm

Evan is a playwright whose award-winning Girls Like That has been performed across the UK. He has written for young people with NT Connections, tutti fruitti, Hampstead Theatre and the Playhouse Project.

 

Sarah Brigham - 5th June / 2pm

Sarah is the Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Derby Theatre, where she has directed Youth Theatre work. Previously Sarah has directed Youth Theatre at York Theatre Royal, Dundee Rep and Eastleigh’s The Point.
