Senior Manager Children and Young People and Learning

Contract: Fixed term until 31 December 2019, Working 35 hours per week

A cultural education is crucial to imagination, self-expression and creativity in young people and develops the skills that fuel the success of the UK’s creative industries.

We are recruiting for a Senior Manager, Children, Young People & Learning to help support our ambitions for cultural education. The post holder will support the Director, Children & Young People in leading our strategic work, writing and implementing policy, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and managing related programmes of work.

To succeed in this role, you will have extensive knowledge and understanding of cultural education structures and practices in England, developed through experience of working in this area in an arts organisation or a policy setting alongside a strong external network in the cultural education sector. The post can be based in any Arts Council office and travel within England is essential.
