STATUES AND SNOWFLAKES: A specially written play for youth theatres who are meeting remotely

Tuesday 1 December 2020

As part of the 12 Tiny Plays project, Fly High Stories have commissioned one of their 12 plays specifically for youth theatre groups to perform together over Zoom.

A specially written play for youth theatres who are meeting remotely. A new twist on the classic tale of the Snow Queen.

When Sam goes missing it’s up to her friends to venture into the Snow Queen’s statue filled garden to rescue her.

If you head to and sign up you will be able to download the play here in order to read it online with your young people in one of your sessions.

"The young people really enjoyed it ... They loved the rhyming language and the overall positive message. They spotted lockdown references and thought it would be fantastic performed in person. Overall it's such a beautiful piece." Tabitha Bowman, Z-Arts: ZYP.

Fly High Stories really hope that it brings some joy and laughter to your group.

12 Tiny Plays is a project from Fly High Stories for families to do together at home over the Festive season. Not only are there plays about Christmas, Chanukah, Diwali, and other fun things you can do in winter, there are also interactive activities such as their amazing Panto-logues (an audio tour of a pantomime), design tutorials and a ‘character builder’. All created so you can bring a little of the theatre magic into your home.

Do please get in touch at [email protected] to tell them how you get on.
