In addition, there will be a staff planning meeting on 18 Sept 2026 (4.30pm - 6.30pm)
£75 per session and £30 for staff meetings - All inclusive, total fee: £780
Job Description
Two positions available to lead Youth Theatre groups during the Autumn term (wc 21 Sept – wc 30 Nov 2026, no session 27 Oct):
11–14s group — Tuesdays 5:45pm–7:15pm at York College
14–19s group — Tuesdays 6:45pm–8:15pm at York Theatre Royal
Staff planning meeting 18 Sept, 4:30–6:30pm.
Interview dates: 28–29 July at York Theatre Royal — practical workshop with Youth Theatre participants plus panel interview including young people, Head of Creative Engagement, and Head of Youth Theatre.
Key requirements: Experience as a theatre practitioner with 11–19 year olds, experience directing scripted youth theatre, safeguarding knowledge, enhanced DBS clearance required.
