Young People’s Performance Opportunities, Frantic Assembly’s FREE UK wide theatre and movement project.

Monday 17 September 2018

We’re looking for young men aged 16-20 to take part in Ignition, Frantic Assembly’s FREE UK wide theatre and movement project. No experience of drama or dance is necessary and I’d be really grateful if you could please spread the word to young people you’re working with.

As part of our outreach we’re running taster workshops from now until October all over the UK; in Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Corby, Hull, Birmingham, Swansea, Cardiff, Plymouth and London.

We then select a group of 12 young men to take part in an intensive residency during the October half term where we create a show directed by our Artistic Director Scott Graham. This year’s shows will be performed on October 24th & 25th at Stratford Circus and on October 26th at the Imperial War Museum, please do come and watch!

Ignition has been designed to raise aspirations amongst young men, build confidence and broaden horizons. We’re especially keen to involve participants who don't usually take part in arts activities and have funding to support individual access needs of young people. For more info please do drop me a line or check out our website on:

Thanks so much and please do get in touch if you’d like any more info!

Best wishes, Sharon x
