Digital in Analogue: using phones/cameras/computers as another way to tell stories

In this workshop, participants will explore the technical, aesthetic and creative uses of cameras and film. Expect some handy practical skills using camera apps and laptop cameras, as well as ways of acting to camera.
Dermot is a youth theatre practitioner and associate artist of Freedom Studios, the home for new and experienced artists in Bradford. Freedom Studios aim to bring audiences and communities together through new work and artistic opportunities.
Dermot is an actor, director, filmmaker and teacher. He is co-creative lead of the film company Chocolate Bear and a lecturer/director at ALRA, Leeds College of Music and The Arden.
The National Association of Youth Theatres are excited to host Raising The Game Online, a week of training, webinars and workshops. These workshops support Youth Theatre practitioners, directors and freelancers working with young people.
