Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival – Head of Performance

Friday 25 August 2017

Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival offers an unusually diverse and exciting environment in which to work, presenting both a year-round programme of performances across Brighton Dome’s variously sized venues and the annual international Brighton Festival that takes place all over the city during the month of May. Our Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre venues are currently being redeveloped alongside a small new creative space, flexible meeting spaces and café.

The postholder will be responsible for programming across theatre, dance, circus and cross-arts work for our venues, which host large-scale dance, circus, music and performance events. We are looking for someone who has significant experience working as a producer and/or programmer of these art forms, having worked with a range of diverse artists, audiences and communities. You will also need to have experience of managing a team and possess good people management skills.

We wholeheartedly believe that the arts can change lives, we aim to integrate creative learning, participation, artist development, diversity and new works into all aspects of what we produce. For this role, we are also looking for someone bold, positive and creative to join our team. Contact: George Henwood.  george.henwood@brightondome.org
