Creative Minds Academy

Founded in 2016, the Creative Minds Academy working in Arts Partnership with Camberley Theatre offer a theatre training and education programme for all ages in theatre performance and production. Weekly Academy classes run on Saturdays during term time for students ages 4 - 12 years in theatre performance; our Youth Theatre programmes - the Musical Theatre Company, Actors Company and Technical Crew - work towards an annual production supported by professional tutors and technical team; the Advanced Skills workshops are suitable for those aged 16+ looking to go into theatre training and auditions, or those looking to gain qualifications with nationally recognised examination boards. We offer performance opportunities throughout the year, the chance to work on professional productions within the disciplines of technical theatre and the chance to take examinations with LAMDA and Trinity College, London. Our students also have the choice to take part in our Holiday Workshops and Family Festivals in a variety of locations. There are also 1:1 sessions available upon request. Adults classes, disability arts awareness and learning & participation programmes will be introduced in 2018 as part of our wider outreach programme as well as an education support programme working with families across Surrey and Hampshire
